RADIO MODE
Press the NEXT button 3.
The "second page" of the radio func-
tions menu is displayed.
Press the softkey 4 assigned to
the "RTXT" display item.
"RTXT ON" or "RTXT OFF" appears
briefly in the display.
Press the TUNER button < or the
joystick OK 7.
The settings are saved.

Setting stereo/mono

If reception is poor, you can make the
radio play in mono.
Press the TUNER button < in ra-
dio mode.
The radio functions menu appears in the
display.
Press the NEXT button 3.
The "second page" of the radio func-
tions menu is displayed.
Press the softkey 4 assigned to
the "MONO" display item.
"MONO ON" or "MONO OFF" appears
briefly in the display.
Press the TUNER button < or the
joystick OK 7.
The settings are saved.

TRAFFIC INFORMATION

Traffic information
Your unit is equipped with an RDS-EON
receiver. EON (Enhanced Other Net-
work) is a feature that involves the
broadcasting of radio station informa-
tion within a broadcasting network.
Every time a traffic announcement (TA)
is transmitted, you will automatically be
switched from a station that does not
provide traffic information to a station
within the broadcasting network that
does.
Once the traffic report has been played,
you will be switched back to the pro-
gramme that you were listening to be-
fore.
Switching traffic information
priority on/off
Press the TUNER button < in ra-
dio mode.
The radio functions menu appears in the
display.
Press the softkey 4 assigned to
the "TRAF" display item.
Traffic announcement priority is active
when a traffic jam symbol is shown in
the display.
Note:
The TA menu is displayed during a
traffic announcement.
To interrupt the current traffic announce-
ment,
press the softkey 4 assigned to
the "OFF" display item.
If you want to deactivate priority for traf-
fic announcements,
press the softkey 4 assigned to
the "TRAF" display item.
