Note: If the staple cartridge detaches accidentally from the holder, refer to
Basic Staple Cartridge.
Note: Before performing this procedure, ensure that the printer is not printing.
1. Open the finisher front cover.
2. Pull out R1, then remove the staple cartridge unit from the printer.
Note: After you remove the staple cartridge unit, check the inside of the finisher for any
remaining staples.
3. Open the staple cartridge unit cover, then remove the jammed staples.
