Tray 5 (Bypass)

Note:
This procedure applies to loading paper in the optional XLS Bypass tray only.
If you perform the Auto Alignment procedure and the procedure fails, adjust the skew.
To verify the alignment, then adjust the skew, perform the following steps:
1. On the front-edge guide, loosen the four screws.
Important:
If you adjust the guides forcibly, the guides can become misaligned, then a service call is
required.
2. Load the paper.
3. Adjust the front-edge guides on the XLS Bypass tray and the rear-edge guides on the XLS Feeder
so that the guides are as parallel to the printer as possible.
4. Run the Auto Alignment Adjustment procedure. Refer to the Xerox
B9125/B9136 Copier/Printer System Administrator Guide.
Note:
Only a system administrator can perform the Auto Alignment Adjustment procedure.
If the result of the auto alignment is not satisfactory, continue to the next step.
5. Loosen the four screws on the front-edge guide.
