Rough valve interlock. If no parameter is specified, the valve
token is given to the pump. Once the pump has the token, it will
keep it until it is done with the rough valve.
During a query (?), the result bits are biased (arithmetically)
with '0'. After subtraction of the bias a bit 0 ON (1) indicates
that the pump has the token.
A bit 0 ON (1) indicates that the pump has the token.
A bit 1 ON (2) indicates the pump needs the valve token for
REGEN.
A bit 2 ON (4) indicates the cryopump is on (PUMP_ON is
TRUE). This is used for auto-compressor power up.
The following applies to a Full regeneration:
Valid returns are '0' . . '7'. A '0' or '4' means that the pump has
given the flag back.
The following applies to a Fast regeneration:
For Fast regeneration pumps, an additional character is added to
the response and a fixed bit 3 weight (8) is always present in the
first character telling the Network Terminal or other querying
agent that a second byte follows with meaningful Fast regenera-
tion flag information. This second character is '0' biased as the
first, with new bit weights defined as follows:
A bit 0 ON (1) indicates the pump needs the rough valve for a
shared Fast regeneration.
Valid returns are '0' or '4' for pump OFF/ON with no REGEN.
Returns of '2', '3', '6', and '7' are normal REGEN need/got.
