ATTACHMENTS AND OPTIONS HANDLE AUTO-GREASING SYSTEM
GREASING MODE SELECTOR SWITCH
Greasing mode selector switch is used to switch the operating
mode of the grease pump.
(a) MANUAL
Operates the grease pump continuously. Set it to (a) MANUAL
when using the grease gun manually.
The manual greasing operating pilot lamp lights up on the ma-
chine monitor.
(b) AUTO
Performs the auto-greasing. Set it to (b) AUTO usually.
The auto-greasing operating pilot lamp lights up on the machine monitor.
When switching (b) AUTO to (a) MANUAL, or (a) MANUAL to (b) AUTO within 3 seconds, 1 cycle of auto-greas-
ing operates. Greasing can be performed anytime as needed.
When using the grease gun, turn the auto-greasing switch to MANUAL position. It can be used to to check the
grease pump operating state or to bleed air from the grease line.
AUTO-GREASING CAUTION LAMP
When the auto-greasing caution lamp is lit in red, it warns that
the auto-greasing device has troubles. When the remaining
grease level is low, immediately add grease.
If the auto-greasing caution lamp does not go out after adding
grease, or if the auto-greasing caution lamp is lit in red even
though the remaining grease level is enough, contact your Ko-
matsu distributor to have the inspection performed as soon as
possible.
