MACHINE OPERATIONS AND CONTROLS
1.
Open the fuel filler cap (F) of the fuel tank.
Float gauge (G) is raising corresponding to the fuel level
when the oil filler cap is opened.
2.
Check that the fuel tank is filled with fuel.
Perform inspection by both visual check and float gauge
(G).
3.
If the tank is not filled with fuel, add fuel through the fuel
filler port until float gauge (G) rises to the highest position.
Fuel tank capacity: 1360 ℓ
Position of tip (a) of float gauge (G) when fuel tank is full:
approximately 50 mm

After adding fuel, push the float gauge (G) straight down
with the fuel filler cap (F), and tighten the fuel filler cap (F)
securely.
REMARK
If breather of the fuel tank is clogged, the pressure inside the tank will go down and the fuel may not be sent. To
prevent this, clean the breather from time to time. Replace the breather element of the fuel tank if the pressure
in the tank is still low and the fuel is not sent even after the breather is cleaned.
METHOD FOR CHECKING WORKING LAMP
Check that the working lamps and lamps inside the instruments light up properly. Check also that there is no dirt
or damage.

Turn the starting switch to ON position.
2.
Check that the working lamp lights up properly when the
lamp switch is at night mode (a) and at day mode (b).
3.
After inspection, turn the lamp switch to OFF position (c),
and the working lamp goes out.
4.
After checking, turn the starting switch back to OFF posi-
tion.
If the lamps do not light up, a broken bulb or disconnected wire are the possible causes. Ask your Komatsu
distributor for repairs.
METHOD FOR CHECKING HORN

Turn the starting switch to ON position.
