5.4.1

Overview of decentralized structure

The distributed configuration makes it possible to connect SIMOTION panel fronts in
different physical locations to a SIMOTION P320-3. The greater flexibility in terms of location
allows the SIMOTION P320-3 to be positioned in non-critical areas of a plant (e.g. control
cabinet).
The essential characteristics of a Panel PC Remote Kit are as follows:
