7. See Figure 5-5, and cut the RCA connector off as near the connector as
possible, and discard the connector.

8. Slit the exposed shield its full length, less a half-inch or so, and twist it so it
forms a single bundle.
9. Cut away about 3/8-inch of insulation covering the inner wire.
10. Securely solder the exposed wire to the center conductor of the F-to-solder
terminal connector as shown, and the shield bundle to the ground terminal.
11. Install the F-to-RCA connector in the upper hole, with the F connector facing
outward.
12. Locate the supplied 2-pin connector with the red and brown wires attached.
a. Solder the red wire to jumper U9 on TVM PC board P800.
b. Solder the brown wire to jumper U8 on the same board.
c. Insert the 2-pin connector into socket JH53 on the CBP45 PC board.
13. As shown in Figure 5-6, connect one end of the 7-inch TMP-to-TMP cable to JH51 on
the CBP45 PC board.
