DSG2000 OPERATION

Set the front panel for one of the following audio processing configurations
(refer to Chapter 3, Figures 3-1, 3-2, and 3-3, for numbers in parentheses).
When the second red LED lights, the module is overmodulating.
Stereo Audio Processing
In later models, individual round LEDs were replaced by rectangular ones
to match the LED meters on the front panel. The reference numbers are
the same for both configurations. See Chapter 5 for accessory installation.
1. To select this mode, press the MODE push-button (16) until the STR LED
(14) lights.
2. While watching the LEFT AUDIO LED string (3), adjust the L LEVEL poten-
tiometer (1) until the first red LED just lights.
3. While watching the RIGHT AUDIO LED string (2), adjust the R LEVEL po-
tentiometer (9) until the first red LED just lights.
Mono Audio Processing
To select this mode, press the MODE pushbutton (16) until the MONO LED (15)
lights. Adjust as in 2, above.
SAP Audio Processing
1. If this option is installed, to select this mode, press the MODE pushbutton
(16) until the STR&SAP LED (13) lights.
2. While watching the SAP AUDIO LED string (4), adjust the SAP LEVEL po-
tentiometer (8) until the first red LED just lights.
