1. Verify that the CBP45-1 package contains the parts shown in Figure 5-3.

2. Remove the modulator power cord from the wall socket, and disconnect all
rear panel cables.
3. To remove the modulator top cover:
a. Remove the front mounting brackets.
b. Remove the screws from the side panel, toward the rear of the unit.
c. Remove the cover screw from the rear panel.
d. Remove the top cover.
4. Remove the black paper tape covering two openings in the rear panel to the
left of the VISUAL IF IN and AURAL IF IN connectors, as seen in Figure 5-4.
5. Install the F-to-solder terminal connector in the lower hole, with the ground
terminal beneath the securing nut and washer. The F connector faces out-
ward.
6. Locate the supplied 7-inch RCA-to-TMP cable.
