Slot numbering
The figure below shows the numbering of the slots. For more detailed information from the
manufacturer, see section "Hardware description", "Motherboard (Page 113)".
Note
Restrictions on use of slots
• A graphics card occupies 1 slot (single slot) or 2 slots (dual slot).
• Two dual-slot graphics cards can be installed on the motherboard in slots 1-2 and 3-4.
There is then no more space for the 2nd COM interface.
• The 2nd COM interface needs slot 1. Use slots 3-4 for a dual-slot graphics card in this
case.
• Do not use a fanless graphics card and a self-venting graphics card at the same time.
Only use graphics cards with the same fan type: only fanless graphics cards or only self-
venting graphics cards.
