Notes on the expansion cards

Slot numbering
The figure below shows the numbering of the slots. For more detailed information from the
manufacturer, see section "Motherboard (Page 108)".
Note
Restrictions on use of slots
• A graphics card occupies one slot (single slot) or two slots (dual slot).
• A dual-slot graphics card that occupies two slots can be installed on the motherboard. It is
inserted in slot 4 und covers slot 3.
• Do not use a fanless graphics card and a self-venting graphics card at the same time. Only
use graphics cards with the same fan type: only fanless graphics cards or only self-venting
graphics cards.
• If the NVIDIA Quadro RTX5000 graphics card is installed, e.g. ex works, no additional
expansion cards may be installed (see section "Configuration variants (Page 57)",
Maximum configuration).
