Powering Up the Drive
Review the following checklist before turning the power on.
Item to Check
Power supply voltage
Drive output terminals and motor
terminals
Control circuit terminals
Drive control terminal status
Status of the load and connected
machinery
<1> Check the following when connecting models CIMR-E4A0930 and 4A1200:
• Remove the jumpers on R/L1-R1/L11, S/L2-S1/L21, and T/L3-T1/L31 when 12-phase rectification.

• Properly connect the inputs on terminals R1/L11, S1/L21, and T1/L31 when not using 12-phase rectification.

Ensure the power supply voltage is correct:
200 V class: 3-phase 200 to 240 Vac 50/60 Hz
400 V class: 3-phase 380 to 480 Vac 50/60 Hz
Properly wire the power supply input terminals (R/L1, S/L2, T/L3).
Check for proper grounding of drive and motor.
Properly wire drive output terminals U/T1, V/T2, and W/T3 with motor terminals U, V, and W.
Check control circuit terminal connections.
Open all control circuit terminals (off).
Decouple the motor from the load.
