6.1 Tones that Sound When a User Operates the Transceiver or When the Transceiver Status Is Changed

Warning Tone

Warning Tone is a tone that sounds from the transceiver before or when the transceiver is disabled to transmit, when the
transceiver becomes unable to transmit, or when the transceiver attempts to transmit while the transceiver is unable to
transmit.
The volume level of Warning Tone can be configured using KPG-D1/ D1N. (Refer to
Tones (Tone
Volume).)

This tone sounds from the transceiver while an unprogrammed channel is selected.
This tone sounds from the transceiver until the PTT switch is released if the transmission is
terminated by the Time-out Timer, or if the transceiver cannot transmit.
This tone sounds from the transceiver until the PTT switch is released if Busy Channel
Lockout is activated in an Analog Conventional, P25 Conventional and NXDN Conventional
system.
