registers at addresses 1000, 1001, and 1002 for monitoring the floor status and 3
registers at addresses 1003, 1004, and 1005 for executing commands on the
floor. Similarly floors #2 and #3 have the same registers for monitoring and
commanding, starting at register 2000 for floor #2 and starting at 3000 for floor
#3.
Configure the "RS-485 A" port using the above requirements

Connect the gateway to the PC via a USB mini type-B cable.
Open the configuration utility and select the XLTR-1000 (see section 8.1 for

more information on selecting a device).

Click on the RS-485 A Configuration tab.
•
Select Modbus RTU Slave from the protocol dropdown menu.

Enter the Baud Rate and Parity settings to match that of the PLC.
•
Enter the Address for the gateway to reside at on the network.

Create Register Remap Objects to map the registers into the gateway's
database. The monitor registers will start at database address 0 and the
command registers will start at database address 100.
