2� Replace the Filter
NOTE
Be sure to hold the handle of the front cover and open and close it gently.

The print-head carriage moves, and then the screen shown in the figure appears.

OPEN FRONT

Open the front cover�
3.
Open the maintenance cover�

Touch the location shown in the figure to discharge any static electricity�

5.
Loosen the screw and pull out the filter holder of the carriage mist fan�
6.
Remove the old filter�
Use a pair of tweezers to remove the old filter. Wipe away any buildup of ink around the fan module with a
cloth.
