13.4 Troubleshooting
Event
Description

Status -
The motor feeder has been
cooling down
switched off due to overload.

A short circuit has occurred in the
EM open
wiring to the 3UL23 residual
circuit
current transformer.

the wiring to the 3UL23 residual
circuit
current transformer.
Fault end
Positioner/solenoid valve has left
position
the end position without a
command being issued. The
motor feeder has been turned off.

Troubleshooting
The motor can only be
switched on again after
the cooling down period
has expired.
The motor can be
switched on again
immediately after an
overload trip.
Please adopt the
maintenance measures
intended for the feeder. If
possible, switch on the
feeder.
Check the bus connection
(plugs, cables, etc.).
Check the operating state
of the PLC.
Limit switch open
circuit
Please check the
positioner application
and the limit switches.
Check the wiring to the
3UL23 residual current
transformer
Check the wiring to the
3UL23 residual current
transformer
Acknowledge the fault by
releasing with the counter
command
"OPEN/CLOSED".
Replace the defective
components. See Chapter
