23. Press the Diagnostic Select button until OFF is displayed.
24. Press the Enter button until CONF is displayed.
25. Press the Diagnostic select button until ID is displayed. ID is the address
parameter of the tape unit.
26. Press the Enter button. The current ID (address) is displayed.
27. Press the Diagnostic select switch until the ID value you need is displayed, and
then press the Enter button.
28. Press the Diagnostic Mode button once to exit the diagnostic mode.
29. Initialize the status registers by setting the tape unit Power switch to Off and then
On.
