Setup Procedures
This chapter describes the following:
•
Setting up the 3151, which shows the steps needed to install the 3151.
•
Defining setup values, which shows the steps needed to define the setup
values. You must define at least the communication values so that the
display station can correctly communicate with the host system or printer.
•
Defining function keys (optional), which shows the steps needed to define
function keys.
•
Setting tab stops (optional), which shows the steps needed to set tab stops.
Notes:
1.
If
you have any problems in the following steps, see Chapter 5, "Solving
Problems" in IBM 3151 ASCII Display Station Guide to Operations.
2.
If
needed, save the packing material which may be required when returning or
relocating the 3151. Packing material can also be purchased from IBM.
