is displayed. The order of priority is as follows:

8. MAINTENANCE, TROUBLESHOOTING
Meaning, Remedy
Meaning: The transducer is not at its in-
tended position.
Remedy: Silence the buzzer with the R/B
AUDIO key. Use the ↑ key to try to return
the transducer to its intended position.
Meaning: The temperature at the transduc-
er is too high.
Remedy: Silence the buzzer with the R/B
AUDIO key. Use the ↑ key tor raise the
transducer. Turn off the system.
Meaning: The hull unit is stopped because
the emergency stop button in the hull unit
was operated or the ratchet wrench in the
hull unit was removed.
Remedy: Silence the buzzer with the R/B
AUDIO key. Operate the emergency stop
button and/or restore the ratchet wrench to
enable raising, lowering operations.
Meaning: The emergency stop condition at
the hull unit was released.
Remedy: Silence the buzzer with the R/B
AUDIO key.
Meaning: The transducer is kept lowered
when the ship's speed (external input) ex-
ceeds the maximum allowable speed.
Remedy: Silence the buzzer with the R/B
AUDIO key. Lower speed then retract the
transducer.
Meaning: The transducer is raised/lowered
and ship's speed, input by external equip-
ment, exceeds maximum allowable speed.
Remedy: Silence the buzzer with the R/B
AUDIO key. Lower speed, or lower speed
and retract transducer.
Remarks
Message remains on screen until problem is
cleared.
