Note
The CUT function in the NCK editor does not store the deleted text in a
buffer memory or clipboard, i.e. the text is deleted and cannot be restored.
You can activate the cursor in the input line. The cursor is then inactive in the
program, i.e. you can only enter characters in the input line (e.g. for the
SEARCH function).
Pressing the key again deselects the activation.
Press the SEARCH softkey to search for a block or a character string in the
selected program. The message
"Please enter search text"
appears.
Use the alphanumeric keyboard to enter the search term and then press the
SEARCH softkey.
The cursor is positioned before the search term. The search is performed from
the cursor position towards the end of the program.
The search function is used to find character strings. This means that if you
enter "N1" as the search text, the cursor finds the character strings "N10",
"N11", "N100" etc. Spaces are also treated as characters. For example, if you
enter the search term " N1
numbers "N1
".
When you press the SEARCH softkey again, the old search text appears in the
input line. You can then perform the search again.
Press the INSERT/OVERWRITE softkey to change between the insert and
overwrite modes. The cursor format changes as follows:
Insert:
The character is highlighted in a different color to the rest of
the text.
Overwrite:
The character is displayed on a black background, the
character itself is displayed in inverse format.
The active mode is displayed in the header line.
You can enter characters directly at the cursor position. The new characters are
inserted where the existing characters are overwritten according to the selected
mode.
"(
= space), the cursor will only find the block
