Damage to the motor due to runout on the shaft extension
Runout and thrust on the shaft extension of the motor can damage the motor.
• Mount the motor without runout and thrust on the shaft extension.

Damage to shaft sealing rings caused by heating
When mounting input and output elements with the heat treatment, shaft sealing rings can
be damaged by overheating.
• Use thermal shields to protect shaft sealing rings against overheating above 100 °C due

• Use suitable tools or fixtures for assembly
• When mounting or shrinking an attachment onto the output shaft, ensure that the
maximum allowable static axial forces of the output bearing are not exceeded.
• Observe the values from the following table.
