- Check the inner tube and axle clamp for damage.
• If there is damage:
- Change the inner tube.
- Measure the outside diameter at several locations on the inner tube.

• If the measured value is below the specified value:
- Change the inner tube.
- Measure the run-{lut of the inner tube.

• If the measured value is greater than the specified value:
- Change the inner tube.
- Check the outer tube for damage.
• If there is damage:
- Change the outer tube.
- Check the surface of the sliding bushing.
• If the bronze-colored layer under the sliding layer is visible:
- Replace the sliding bushing.
- Check the spring length.
