overvieW
This screen displays information for the turbine lube
system and shows all measured oil and bearing pa-
rameters and status displays pertinent to the operation
and protection of the turbine. In addition, this screen
also allows manual control of the turbine auxiliary oil
pump. The turbine steam inlet flow line is animated at
speeds above 500 RPM.
Turbine Speed
The turbine speed is sensed by two magnetic pickups
that monitor a toothed gear installed on the turbine
shaft. The pickup signals are converted to 4-20 mA
signals by frequency-to-analog converters in the Tur-
bine Box and connected to the Analog I/O Board in the
Control Center. This data field displays the highest of
the two speed input signals.
MPU #1 Speed
Access Level Required: SERVICE
Displays the speed input signal from the designated
magnetic pickup.

Displays the speed input signal from the designated
magnetic pickup.
Shaft Bearing Temperature
Displays the surface temperature of the shaft end jour-
nal bearing. This text and data field only appears if
MSSP14-Turbine Bearing Temperature Sensors is set
for Enabled on Configuration screen 1.

Displays the surface temperature of the governor end
journal bearing. This text and data field only appears if
MSSP14-Turbine Bearing Temperature Sensors is set
for Enabled on Configuration screen 1.
