DC Operation – Replacing Fuses
The CDD-56xA/L uses two 5mm x 20mm Slow-blow fuses – one each for line and neutral connections.
The fuses are contained within a fuse holder that is press-fit into the body of the DC power module
(located on the rear panel, Figure 3-7).

To replace the fuse(s):
WARNING
Disconnect the power supply first.
1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. Use a flat-bladed screwdriver to pry open the slot and swing back the hinged flap.
3. Extract the press-fit fuse holder:
a. Using the screwdriver, disengage the fuse holder outward from the DC power module.
b. Using your fingers, pull the holder straight out of the module.
4. Remove and replace the T4A (4 Amp) fuses as needed.
5. Re-seat the fuse holder into the DC power module, and close the protective flap.
CAUTION
For continued operator safety, always replace the fuses with the correct type and rating.
