3 Mounting the HiPath Wireless Outdoor APs

3.1 Removing the housing cover

Warning
You must remove the housing cover only after you have turned off the power supply of the HiPath
Wireless Outdoor AP.

The first step to mounting the HiPath Wireless Outdoor AP is to remove the
Wireless AP housing cover.
You have to remove the housing over if you want to carry out any of the following
activities:
• Mount the HiPath Wireless Outdoor AP to a wall or to the optional mounting
plate
• Connect the power supply cables, Ethernet cable, or external antennas cable
to the HiPath Wireless Outdoor AP
• Use the reset button on the HiPath Wireless Outdoor AP
