Bottom Features

The bottom of the Versa TXi notebook has the following features, which are described after the
figure.
n
Primary Battery — Supplies power when the system is not connected to an AC power
source.
n Battery Bay Release Latch — Releases the system's primary battery for removal.
n NEC VersaBay IV Slot — Houses a CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-ROM, or combination
CD-RW and DVD-ROM drive. Also accepts an NEC VersaBay IV battery.
n Vents — Allows the system to cool properly and maintain a safe operating temperature.
n Memory Module Bay — Stores the system's memory module.
