General rules

Warning: Equipment is intended for installation in Restricted Access Location.
Warning: Equipment is only to be accessed by trained service personnel
Before carrying out any installation, turn-up, tests, or operation and maintenance operations,
carefully read the related sections of this Manual, in particular:
Hardware Installation
Commissioning
Maintenance and Trouble-clearing
Observe the following safety rules:
While the equipment is operating, no access is allowed to the equipment parts which
are protected with Cover Plate Shields that are removable with tools.
If there is a need for access to the equipment parts while the equipment is operating,
this access is restricted to service personnel. Service personnel provide technical
assistance and are:
→ "personnel who have adequate technical knowledge and experience to be aware
of the potential dangers in carrying out an operation and the necessary steps to
take in order to minimize these dangers for themselves and others".
→ Service Personnel can only replace the faulty units with spare parts.
→ Service Personnel are not allowed to repair equipment; therefore, they are not
allowed access to any parts not specified above.
→ The keys and/or tools used to open doors or hinged covers to gain access to
compartments in which dangerous high voltages are present, must only be held
by the service personnel.
When cleaning the external parts of the equipment, never use any inflammable
substances that could alter the markings or inscriptions.
When cleaning the external parts of the equipment, use a slightly wet cleaning cloth.
