12. Removal of LCD BLOCK

Note: Wear a wrist band, etc. to prevent static electricity
when replacing the LCD Block. The LCD may be
damaged by static electricity.
1. Remove the Front Case Unit following "1. Removal of
FRONT CASE UNIT".
2. Remove the Top Case Assy following "2. Removal of
TOP CASE ASSY".
3. Remove the MAIN PCB ASSY following "3. Removal of
MAIN PCB ASSY".
4. Remove the Optical Unit following "4. Removal of
OPTICAL UNIT".
5. Remove the Cooling Fan Assy following "11. Removal of
COOLING FAN ASSY".
6. Remove the three (a) screws and the Cooling Cover
Bottom as shown in Fig. 3-10.
7. Remove the three (b) screws and take out the LCD
Block as shown in Fig. 3-10.
13. Removal of LAMP UNIT ASSY and
COOLING FAN ASSY
1. Remove the Front Case Unit following "1. Removal of
FRONT CASE UNIT".
2. Remove the Top Case Assy following "2. Removal of
TOP CASE ASSY".
3. Remove the MAIN PCB ASSY following "3. Removal of
MAIN PCB ASSY".
4. Remove the Optical Unit following "4. Removal of
OPTICAL UNIT".
5. Remove the two (a) screws and the Lamp Unit Assy as
shown in Fig. 3-11.
6. Remove the two (b) screws and the Cooling Fan Assy
as shown in fig. 3-11.
