USING THE WARNING HISTORY RECOGNITION SOFTWARE ( PCGCe Ver.6 )
PCGC Ver.6 has two versions, for XGA screen and for SVGA screen. Only the sizes of the letters in the dialog boxes are
different between them. Choose either version depending on the monitor screen of the personal computer.
1. Before starting-up the program
1. Connect the projector to the personal computer with the attached RS-232C cable.
2. Copy the folder [PCGC6E] in the CD-ROM drive into the [Windows] folder in the Windows drive.
2. Start-up of the program
1. Double-click the [Windows] folder copied in the Windows drive and the file [PCGC6E(XGA).exe] or [PCGC6E(SVGA).exe] to
start up the program.
2. After the start-up, the program opens the serial port and starts corresponding with the projector, in accordance with the
specifications.
3. Recognizing of the warning data
After the program starting, the warning data will be automatically recognized from the projector and indicated on the Main
Dialogue.
An error item on the screen will be displayed in red and a corresponding check box will be marked. If the warning data is not
correctly recognized, there will be no indication.
4. [CURRENT ERROR] button
For recognition of the latest warning data.
5. [History1] button
For recognition of the previous warning data by one.
6. [History2] button
For recognition of the previous warning data by two.
7. [CLEAR] button
Press the [CLEAR] button to send the command to the
projector and clear the warning history.
8. [DETAIL] button
Details of an error are displayed on the NotePad. You can
save them with a new name.
9. Occurrence of correspondence error
Check the main power of the projector and the Comm. port which is connected with the cable in case of communication error or
no response from the projector.
10. Termination of the program
Press the [CLOSE] button to terminate the program.
