Adjustment purpose
To remove ghosts from the screen.
Symptom when
Ghosts appear.

* Make this adjustment only when ghosts remarkably appear on the screen.
* Enter the adjustment command with small alphanumeric letters
1. Connect this PROJECTOR to a personal computer (with Microsoft
95 Operating System). (Refer to the figure on P.1)
2. Start Microsoft
3. Start the communication program [Hyper Terminal] in Microsoft
to open the window. (For setting, refer to Hyper Terminal setting on P.2)
4. Project pictures onto the screen.
Red
5. Supply an SVGA signal (SMPTE (R), No. 35).
6. Operate the signal source to be projected in red monochrome on the screen.
7. Enter the adjustment command [00 ~ 30c0
minimize the red ghosts. Enter [07], [08], [09], [0a] or [0b] to
ghosts.
(*1) When the sent command is displayed, sending is accomplished correctly.
8. Enter command for writing [00~1e68
write the changed value onto the EEPROM.
Enter the value of step 7 to
sending the command without entering any value to
Green
9. Supply an SVGA signal (SMPTE (G), No. 36).
10. Operate the signal source to be projected in green monochrome on the screen.
11. Enter the adjustment command [00 ~ 30d0
minimize the green ghosts. Enter [07], [08], [09], [0a] or [0b] to
minimum ghosts. (*1)
12. Enter command for writing [00 ~ 1e6a
write the changed value onto the EEPROM.
