Solid-State Drive (SSD) Status

The MVX1000 Unit utilizes a 32GB or 64GB memory device called the Solid-State Drive (SSD).
On an occasional basis, when LAN is not available, the SDD can be removed from the MVX1000 unit
and installed inside SSD Adaptor Box linked to the upload server for data transfer.

Remaining Record Time

The MVX1000 can store approximately 30 or 60 hours to 27 or 56 hours of video, audio and metadata
from one camera set for 30 fps, on a 32GB or 64GB SSD, respectively.
The Remaining Record Time field displays the total remaining recording time left on the SSD memory.
Time format can be set by your agency to show a twelve-hour (AM/PM) or military time (24 hours).
NOTE
When the SSD remaining recording time is low, the critical memory space warning
to the Remaining Record Time field. When remaining record time warning is displayed, follow your
agency procedures for working with critical memory space.

GPS Position and Direction

The MVX1000 Unit uses GPS to accurately determine location of the vehicle (latitude/longitude) and
heading (direction) and the time of day recordings are made. This information is displayed on the screen
and encoded as metadata that complements the video and audio record of the incident.
GPS format can be set by your agency to show positional coordinates as
