MVX1000 Unit Front Panel Description

The front panel of the MVX1000 Unit supports basic functionality of the in-car system and can be used without a
display when the unit is mounted within the view and reach of the officer. Otherwise, full functionality requires the
MVX1000 LCD Control Head or mDVR User Interface Application (client) that runs on a compatible mobile
workstation or laptop.
In standard use, power to the MVX1000 is controlled by the vehicle's ignition switch. The MVX1000 can be
configured to keep the unit's power on for a programmable time period after the vehicle's ignition is turned off. This
feature allows procedures such as incident upload to be initiated without requiring the officer to stay with the
vehicle during the video upload time.
