6. Place the fryer power switch and the gas
valve in the OFF position. Remove the
fitting from the pressure tap hole and
reinstall the pressure tap plug.

WARNING
Never operate the filter system without
cooking oil/shortening in the system.
WARNING
Never use the filter pan to transport old
cooking oil/shortening to the disposal
area.
WARNING
Never drain water into the filter pan.
Water will damage the filter pump.
There are no periodic preventive maintenance
checks and services required for your built-in
filtration system other than daily cleaning of
the filter pan and its components with a solu-
tion of hot water and detergent.
If you notice that the system is pumping
slowly or not at all, verify that the filter pan

detergent to clean inside the tubes.
