Method of Error
Excessive charging of refrigerant is detected during check operation by using outdoor temperature,
outdoor heat exchanger temperature, and liquid pipe temperature.

When the amount of refrigerant, which is calculated during check operation by using outdoor

standard.

Check the mounting condition
of the outdoor temperature
thermistor, outdoor heat
exchanger thermistor, liquid
pipe thermistor.
Remove the outdoor
temperature thermistor,
outdoor heat exchanger
thermistor, liquid pipe
thermistor from the outdoor
PCB and measure the
resistance with a multimeter.
Refer to Thermistor Resistance/Temperature Characteristics table 1 on page 267.

Incorrect installation of outdoor temperature thermistor, outdoor heat exchanger thermistor,
liquid pipe thermistor (R1T, R4T, R7T)
Defective outdoor temperature thermistor, outdoor heat exchanger thermistor, liquid pipe
thermistor (R1T, R4T, R7T)
Be sure to turn off the power switch before connecting or disconnecting
