mum of 60% antifreeze)

Coolant Recommendation
The -owner must properly maintain the
coolantf'to prevent freezing, overheating,
and. corrosion.
Use only high quality
ethylene glycol antifreeze containing cor-
rosion protection inhibitors specifically
recommended for use in aluminum en-
gines. (SEE ANTIFREEZE CONTAINER
LABEL).

Hard water or salt water is harmful to
aluminum.
The factory provides a 50/50 solution of
antifreeze
and water in the
GLIIOO
ASPENCADE.
This coolant solution is recommended for
most operating temperatures and provides
good
corrosion
protection.
A higher
concentration of antifreeze decreases the
cooling .system performance and is recom-
mended only when _'additional protection
against freezing is needed. A concentratioq
of less than 40/60 (40% antifreeze) will nq.t

SAE 90 (Above 5°C/41°F)
SAE 80 (Below 5°C/41°F)
FINAL DRIVE OIL
Oil Level Check
Check the final drive oil level when speci-
fied by the maintenance schedule
Place the motorcycle on its
ce~ter
stand
on level ground.
Remove the oil filler cap
(I).
Check that the final gear case
is
filled up
to the lower edge of the oil inspection hole
(2).
If
required, add the recommended oil
until it reaches the lower edge of the oil
insection hole.
