Final Drive Oil

Changing Final Drive Oil
1. Place your motorcycle on the side stand
on a level surface.
2. Open the final gear cover.
3. Place a drain pan under the drain bolt.
4. Remove the oil fill hole cap, drain bolt,
and sealing washer to drain the oil.

5. Install a new sealing washer onto the

6. Fill the final gear with the recommended

7. Check the oil level. It should be flush
8. Reinstall the oil fill hole cap and tighten.
9. Check that there are no oil leaks.

10. Close the final gear cover.

Torque: 12 N·m (1.2 kgf·m, 9 lbf·ft).

Required oil:
200 cm 3 (6.8 US oz, 7.0 Imp oz)
with the lower edge of the oil fill hole.
Torque: 8 N·m (0.8 kgf·m, 5.9 lbf·ft).
