Planning
Coverage needs to overlap between floors in areas like stairwells, where handset users move between
coverage zones while on a call. A stairway can be a good location to achieve coverage across two
floors.

Hallways

Hallways are often good spaces for mounting base units and repeaters. For L-shaped corners, mount
the base on the outside corner for best coverage down both hallways. The intersection of two hallways
can also be a good location because of open transmission in multiple directions.
Multiple Buildings
Installation sites located in multiple buildings that are not within radio range of each other must be
installed as two separate systems; handsets from one system will not operate on the other system.
