5. Read zOffset (value always in psi), enter
Run As Found data for pressures defined in the calibration matrices in
Calibration Tables.
1. The As Found data determines the new C0 and C1 calibration coefficients
and calibration date.
2. The C0, C1, and zOffset values must be applied to the As Found data in
order to calculate the new C0 and C1 coefficients.
Directions to correct data for zOffset, C0 and C1:
Do these calculations in an Excel spreadsheet and for each pressure
point.
1. Iteration_1 = (zOFF_Removed)
UUT pressure – zOffset (double check if zOffset is always in psi or unit of
measure).
2. Iteration_2 = (C0_Removed).
zOff_Removed – C0
3. Iteration_3 = (C1_Removed).
C0_Removed/C1
Use the calculated (C1_Removed) to find the new (New C1) with the formula
below:
1. New C1
New C1 =1/SLOPE(C1_Removed data, reference pressure data)
Do this in an Excel spreadsheet where C1_Removed data =
known_y's and reference pressure data = known_x's.
Calculate the new C0. Using the New C1, you will apply it to the C1_Removed
data then calculate the Intercept (New C0).
1. New C1 Applied = (C1_Corrected).
C1_Removed*New C1
2. New C0.
INTERCEPT(C1_Corrected,reference pressure data)
