Replace the Control Valves

Each valve and the blank have specific orientation which is referenced by a guide
pin in the manifold. Make sure the apply and release valves are not reversed.
When the valves are reversed, control performance is impacted and control
tuning is required. The control valve is the valve nearest to the front or in the
middle space if the blank is included, see Figure 35.
To replace the control valve, see Figure 36:
1. Shut off supply pressure and vent the system.
2. Remove all pressure lines and fittings from the manifold.
3. Remove The PCM. See PMM/PCM Removal.
4. Remove the cover and clamp screws from the PCM. See PCM O-rings,
Handle, Cover, and Clamp Screws.
To prevent leaks, only remove the blank or specific valve if an issue
is suspected.
