Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Turn off the water supply to the washer.
3. Remove the back panel (See page 4-28).

4. Press the locking tab and remove the wire
connector from the sensor.
5. Pull the temperature sensor out of the outer
tub with a slight twisting motion.

6. Remove and replace the grommet only if
necessary.
n It is easier to replace the grommet from
inside the outer tub if removing the outer
tub.
n It may help to wet the temperature sensor
when reinstalling it since it is a tight fit in the
rubber grommet.
