Fault concerning memory

No. Reason
1 Error while writing to the EEPROM.
The acknowledge signal does not arrive in the
expected time.
2 Error while writing to the EEPROM. No storage in
memory possible.
3 System parameter "program number" is out of range
>255
5 System parameter "Dimension" is neither mm nor
inch.
6 System parameter "measuring mode" is neither
single measurement nor continuous measurement
resp. keyboard or PLC.
8 System parameter "Language" is not realistic.
9 System parameter "Number sensors" is not realistic.
12 System parameter "Measurement start" is not
realistic.
15 System parameter "Teach-limit FE" is not realistic.
16 System parameter "Sensor type" is not defined.
17 System parameter "Output 0-1-2" is out of range.
18 System parameter "External adjustment" is not
realistic.
19 System parameter "FE measurement" is not realistic.

Fault messages, causes and remedies
Remedy
The EEPROM is defective
The memory errors 3 to 19 (except error 7) can be
redressed as follows:
• Select the defective system parameter in
the system configuration.
• Press the ENTER key, the
setting will the blink.
• Correct the value with the "Arrow" keys.
• Store the value with the ENTER key.
• Switch the unit off and on again, in
order to check the new value.
Perform Zero-Adjust
Create a new program and store it. Switch unit off and on.
If error re-appears, change EEPROM.
Since the numbers of the deleted programs cannot be
indicated, check all programs. Switch unit off and on.
If error re-appears, change EEPROM.
Remedy
Perform new zero adjust.
The Sensor might have been covered with material.
