The Next PLI Update displays the number of seconds until the next poll.
When the timer reaches zero, the UIT2 will turn the circuit on for a specified amount of time based
on the sensor address and update the temperature. At this point, the circuit will either remain on
or turn off again based on the new temperature.
Relay state field shows the current relay state.
imPortant: The timer will stay at zero while it's updating. If the circuit is on because the
temperature is below the setpoint, the timer will remain at zero until the circuit turns off.
imPortant: The value on the screen may not update every second while on this window.

3.3.19.1 PLi test utiLity

The PLI Test utility allows you to test the communication between the UIT2 and the PLI module.
You can use this to test and diagnose any issues you may be having receiving temperatures from
the SES/SPC and TT temperature sensors.
imPortant: This utility only tests communications between the UIT2 and the PLI module. The
purpose of this test is to force the SES/SPC/TT temperature sensors to report temperatures to the
PLI in a timely manner. The UIT2 does not directly communicate to the temperature sensors
The PLI Test utility can be launched from the Status|PLI screen. The circuit that is being viewed
must have a PLI RTD assigned to it for this screen to appear. Tapping on the Start PLI Cycle Test
button on this screen will launch the tester.
Fig. 3.26 The PLI test utility (Shown using PLI-TT)
In the PLI test utility, all of the PLI RTDs assigned to the current circuit will be displayed on this
screen. The temperatures will appear as the values are being read during the test process. Along
with the temperature, the last update will appear to the right. This timestamp shows the time
when the last communication occurred between the UIT2 and the PLI module.
Below the temperatures is the Start button which will initiate the test. After the test has started,
pressing this button again will stop the test.
Below the button is an input box for the number of test cycles the utility will perform. You can
change this to what is required for your specific test.
