Setting the Pause Length (Pause Time)

You can set the length (in seconds) of the dialing pause created when the [Pause] key is pressed.
NOTE
• If a pause is placed at the end of a telephone number, the pause length is fixed at 10 seconds.
• The factory setting is 2 seconds.

Call up the desired screen as follows:
Additional
key → [Communications Settings] → [Fax Settings] → [Pause Time]
Functions

Use the keypad or the [+] and [-] keys to
enter the pause length, then press the [OK]
key.
NOTE
• The pause length can be set from 1 to 15 sec-
onds.
Clear
• Press the
key to cancel the setting.

Press the [Done] key.
Repeat until the Additional Functions screen closes.

Setting Automatic Redial (Auto Redial)

The Automatic Redial function automatically redials the recipient's number if the number is busy or a
connection cannot be established for any reason (i.e., a communication error).
NOTE
