Enter the Fax number using the keypad.
• [Pause]: Press to pause for a few seconds
during sending. A pause entered
in the fax number will appear as a
"p" between digits, or as a "P" at
the end. This is used to enter a
pause after an international
access code (such as 001), or to
place a pause at the end of a
phone number. You can also set
the length of the pause. (See
"Setting the Pause Length," on
p. 4-25.)
• [Tone]: Use when entering a touch tone
phone number on a dial line. This
enables you to use touch tone
services even when connected to
a dial line. A tone entered in the
fax number will appear as a "T."
• [ ] and [ ]: Use to move the cursor.
• [Backspace]: Use to delete incorrect
characters.
• [Space]: Use to place a space between an
exchange number and phone
number.
• [Details]: Use to enter subaddress or
password settings. Use this as
necessary.
