Note
• The factory settings for the SSID and password are as follows:
SSID: "PT-D800W" or "DIRECT-*****_PT-D800W" where "*****" is the last five digits of the product serial
number.
(You can find the serial number label on the bottom of the machine.)
Password (network key): 00000000
• You can connect the machine to a mobile device in the Infrastructure Mode via a wireless access
point/router.
• You cannot connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi while using Wireless Direct. To use the Internet, connect using
Infrastructure mode.

Turning the Wireless Function On or Off

To turn the wireless function on or off, press the

Press the (Wi-Fi) button. The wireless function is now on.

Press the (Wi-Fi) button again to turn the wireless function off.
Note
• If [Off] is selected in the [Direct Mode On/Off] and [Infrastructure Mode On/Off] screen, the
wireless function will remain off even if you press the
Direct mode and Infrastructure mode.) For more information see Connecting the machine to a Mobile

• When the wireless function is on, the Li-ion battery power will decrease quickly. To change the power
source, connect the AC adapter.
