Checking the Operation of Network Devices

Problem
Your machine and wireless access
point/router are not turned on
I do not know my machine network
settings, such as the IP address
Can you ping your machine from
your computer?
Solution
Make sure you have performed all of the tasks on page 195.
Check the Printer Setting Tool (see Changing the P-touch Labelling Machine
Settings on page 80).
Ping your machine from your computer using the IP address or the node name.
 Successful: Your machine is working correctly and connected to the same
network as your computer.
 Unsuccessful: Your machine is not connected to the same network as your
computer.
Contact the network administrator.
You can confirm the IP address or the node name by printing the machine
settings report.
