Speed Factor (Optional)

If your boat is equipped with a Volvo Penta speed sen-
sor (multisensor), this setting needs to be performed.
The speed factor for the boat's paddle wheel speed
sensor can be adjusted with a resolution of ± 1%
(-100%–100%) to apply a correction to the output from
the speed sensor.
Set the speed factor while driving the boat. Compare
the displayed speed with speed data from the GPS (or
another boat) and adjust the speed factor until they
correspond.
This setting needs to be performed only on one
display (twin installation) at one station for the
settings to apply to all displays in the boat.
These instructions are a continuation of the section
entitled Entering the Settings Menu on page 154.
Use the BACK BUTTON 5 at any time to return to the
previous menu.
5. Turn the SELECTION WHEEL 10 to select
SPEED FACTOR SET LEVEL and enter by push-
ing the SELECTION WHEEL.
6. Adjust the level (in steps of 1%) by turning the
SELECTION WHEEL and confirm by pushing the
SELECTION WHEEL.

Information Beep

The info beep sound level for the built-in buzzer in the
"EVC system tachometer" can be adjusted in 20 steps
between 0–100%.
This setting needs to be performed on each sta-
tion in the boat. For twin installations: The setting
only needs to be performed on either tachometer
display on each station.
These instructions are a continuation of the section
entitled Entering the Settings Menu on page 154.
Use the BACK BUTTON 5 at any time to return to the
previous menu.
5. Turn the SELECTION WHEEL 10 to select INFO
BEEP SET LEVEL and enter by pushing the
SELECTION WHEEL.
6. Adjust the level (in steps of 5%) by turning the
SELECTION WHEEL and confirm by pushing the
SELECTION WHEEL.
