Retrieving Faults

Faults set in the system during a trip can be viewed in
the FAULTS MENU of the EVC Basic Window (the
LCD display of the tachometer). The EVC Basic Win-
dow is operated with buttons on the EVC Control Pan-
el.
To access the EVC Basic Window from the EVC Sys-
tem Display, press button 2 to enter page MULTI. Push
repeatedly until the EVC Basic Window is displayed.
For additional information, please see MULTI Page
(Button 2) on page 138.
All faults during a trip are erased when the starter
key is turned to the stop position.
1. For twin engine installations, select which display
(engine) to check for faults. Use the DISPLAY
SELECTION BUTTON 11.
2. When in MAIN MENU A turn the SELECTION
WHEEL 10 to select the FAULTS view.
A POINTING HAND-symbol in a view indicates a
SUB-MENU. If there are no faults (FAULTS 0) in
the FAULTS view, there is no SUB-MENU for
FAULTS.
3. Push the SELECTION WHEEL to enter the
FAULTS MENU B.
4. Turn the SELECTION WHEEL to view the faults
detected by the system.
5. Push the BACK BUTTON 5 to return to the MAIN
MENU.
