EVC Control Panel

A. Panel for single engine installations
B. Panel for twin engine installations
The buttons on the EVC control panel command the
following functions:
1. ACTIVATION BUTTON – This button activates
and locks/unlocks a station. As long as no other
station is locked, pressing this button the first
time activates the station. Pressing the button a
second time locks the station. Pressing it a third
time unlocks the station.
2. PADLOCK SIGN – The padlock sign, when lit,
indicates that the station is locked.
3. NEUTRAL BUTTON – This button enables the
neutral warm-up, "clear flood" and "emergency
trimming" functions. For more detailed informa-
tion on how to use this button, please refer to:

4. SELECTION WHEEL – Alter the information dis-
played in the EVC Basic Window by spinning the
wheel clockwise or counter-clockwise. Enter a
sub-menu by pushing the wheel. Pushing the
wheel will also acknowledge alarms in case of a
fault.
5. BACK BUTTON – Back up a step in the EVC
menu levels by pushing the BACK BUTTON.
6. MULTIFUNCTION BUTTON – Push this button to
turn on and off the instrument's backlighting and
to increase or decrease the backlighting in five
stages. For installations with several stations,
push this button to be able to monitor operating
information in the display(s) on an inactive sta-
tion.
7. DISPLAY SELECTION BUTTON (twin installa-
tion only) – Choose port (red LED indication) or
starboard (green LED indication) by pushing the
DISPLAY SELECTION BUTTON.
